Introduction to Working with Data Quality Levels
The data availability and quality levels menu gives users feedback on what data will appear on a plot and allows selection of quality levels for verified data (PD2 or data processed at level 2). You will be presented with a menu for each plot that looks like the menu below.

Data processing levels: raw (PD0), preliminary (PD1), or verified (PD2).
Data quality levels: one of five data quality levels assigned to data ranging from good at level 1 to bad at level 5 (QL1.. QL5).

Quality levels, How?

To turn on/off different quality levels for a particular offering:

Select quality levels you wish to display on plot
Unselect quality levels you wish not to display on plot

By default QL1 to QL3 are selected

Note: Turbidity data from Cyclops sensors was incorrectly scaled by a factor of 6 prior to March 3rd, 2016. Historical data has been rescaled to the correct scale. This change has resulted in a larger baseline offset which will be adjusted for in future releases of the data. Turbidity date from FLNTU and Multi-exciter instruments did not require rescaling and has not been changed.

Caution: chlorophyll units from different sensors/stations may not be directly comparable. Click here for more information.
